Is this an HOA?: No. The association has no covenants, cannot fine anyone, and cannot put a lien on a house.
Do I have to pay dues?: No. The draft bylaws suggest $10 per household per year, and paying is voluntary. You can vote, come to meetings, and hold office whether you pay or not.
I rent. Am I included?: Yes. Everyone who lives here counts, renters and owners alike.
How do decisions get made?: At meetings, with at least 10 days' notice. Under the draft bylaws, governance matters like the bylaws, elections, dues and boundaries get one vote per household; events and other community matters get one vote per adult member.
